Education: Duty or Business
Former India
In ancient days, India is called ' Vishva Guru' because of its qualitative education system. The education system of India is much better than any other country in the world. Students from whole world come to India for higher studies because best books, teachers and gurukuls are available in India. 'Takshshila Vishvavidhyalay' is famous across the world for the higher studies. Modern India
But it is 21st century and everything has changed with the changing time. The mindset of the people towards the education and the quality of the education has totally changed.
Now education beacome a business for big institues and foundations apart from duty.
Nobody thought about the quality and results of fake education in the future. "Education doesn't mean money, it means the development of mind". With the changing mindset of teachera the student's mind also changed. In former times, the students wants to become a good person by getting education but now their mind limit the meaning of education to only a good job. The big institutions and foundations are engaged in filling their institutes by students not by education. For them 'More students means more money'. In private institutes the fees of every course is very high and the middle class students who wants to get higher studies in these institutes can't afford to pay the fees. As a result, the students who really have talent lag behind due to the lack of money. Earning money by teaching is not wrong but one should understand the teaching as a duty and a right rather than business. The private institutions should take care that with the increading number of students the quality of education also grow. Only money can't help the nation to develop. Talent, abilities, knowledge and enthusiasm is much more important than money. Every student play equal role in the development of nation , so it is important for everyone to understand the duty towards education and nation. If everyone feel the teaching and education as a duty and not the business then the day is not far away when India again become 'Vishva Guru'.
"Each one, teach one ".
